PHASE Nepal has currently got ten Nepalese members, seven of
whom form the Executive Board, which is the main decision making
body of the organisation in Nepal, and the direct employer of all
PHASE Nepal staff.
All members of PHASE Nepal are professionals who have a personal
interest in the development of Nepal, particularly its rural areas,
and a passion for serving the poorest sections of society. They give
their time and expertise freely and without remuneration.

Sukhadev Sapkota |
An advocate who works with the Kathmandu School of Law and
gives invaluable legal advice to PHASE Nepal. |

Vice Chair
Rajendra Karki |
The most senior member of PHASE Nepal; he works for Unicef,
having worked in various senior government roles in the
past. |

Secretary General
Rudra Neupane |
A Civil Engineer, who works in the disaster management
department of the United Nations office in Kathmandu, and
gives a lot of his time to organisational development in
PHASE. |

Treasurer
Tara Bahadur Basnet |
A successful Businessman who contributes his financial
acumen and experience of the business world to PHASE
programmes and is always prepared to step in when practical
help is needed. |

Member
Dr Renu Prasai |
Senior Consultant Paediatrician at the Kanti Children's
Hospital in Kathmandu, and co-author of PHASE Clinical
Guidelines. She offers training and advice to PHASE health
workers in all matters regarding child health. |

Dr Sheela Verma |
Consultant Gynaecologist, currently Director of the
Maternity Hospital in Kathmandu, she takes the lead on
women’s health policy in PHASE and has visited the UK in the
course of the Cervical Cancer Cooperation programme with
PHASE Worldwide and NNCTR. |
